    WhatsApp for iOS readying new in-app alert about Business accounts texting users

    WhatsApp for iOS is testing a new in-app alert for when an unknown Business account sends users a message. This feature is set to be available in a future software update. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp’s latest beta, version 2.21.230.18, is bringing this new in-app notification for users who receive messages from Business accounts.     SumUp Launces Business Accounts for Merchants

    Global payments service provider SumUp is launching Business Accounts, a new solution for the company’s merchants in the U.K. and Europe that will enable them to send sales payments directly into their account, according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS on Tuesday (Nov. 16). The new solution is a central component of SumUp’s core package as it moves to build out the breadth of the merchant tools it offers. With SumUp Business Account, U.K. merchants can use their account number and source code with services already offered by SumUp: point-of-sale card reader, invoicing, SumUp Card, payment links and more.

    WhatsApp for iOS improving Status functionality for Business accounts

    WhatsApp is releasing today another beta version of its app for iOS users. With this update, people will be able to view specific Business account status updates. Version 2.21.220.17 is rolling out today for WhatsApp beta testers on iOS, and according to WABetainfo, it allows “viewing status updates directly within Business info.” The blog explains that “after tapping the profile photo, you can choose between viewing it or the status update.” As of now, general users of WhatsApp can only find Status updates within the proper tab. WABetaInfo notes that this change is only valid for viewing Business account

    TD Bank Debuts Invoicing to Business Accounts

    TD Bank is expanding its partnership with Autobooks, adding a new invoicing feature, according to a press release.
