(Reuters) -An explosion at a chocolate manufacturing unit in Pennsylvania has killed two individuals with 5 others lacking as rescue employees search by particles for survivors, emergency companies mentioned on Saturday.

The blast occurred on Friday on the R.M. Palmer Firm plant in West Studying, a city about 60 miles (97 km) northwest of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Emergency Administration Company (PEMA) mentioned.

PEMA mentioned an investigation could be carried out to find out the reason for the explosion, and that an preliminary incident report included reference to a fuel leak.

Seven different individuals had been transported to native hospitals with accidents, PEMA added.
